Can Am Maverick X3 Billet Coolant Bleeder Block Kit вђ Quad Logic First. fill to max line and reinstall cap. let run thru tw fan cycles, after second fan cycle rev 3 or 4 times. shut off and let cool. fill up again if needed. seems a little basic but thats what is written in manual. i just went thru this with my thermostat. hope its just air. reply like. Megadesertdiesel said: pull the radiator and clean it the right way by soaking it. most just leave it in and try to spray it out, they end up with cooling issues. i never had any issues bleeding my system and i have had my radiator out twice and motor out once. let it idle and top off a few times. take extra coolant on your first ride to top off.
Radiator Relocation Kit Canam Maverick X3 Turbo Action Offroad From the manual 500 model: filling cooling system. raise rear of vehicle 4" or so. pinch off hose between radiator and thermostat, see photo (large vise grips work for me) remove bleed screw at thermostat housing. fill radiator until coolant comes out bleed screw hole. install bleed screw & remove pincher. complete filling radiator. Cooling system bleeding. 1. unscrew bleed screws on thermostat housing covers of both front and rear cylinders. 2. remove the pressure cap. 3. fill the cooling system until coolant comes out of the bleed screw (s). 5. continue adding coolant until system is full up to the pressure cap seat in the refill adapter. Set heat to max temp and blower to lowest setting. floor the accelerator and hold for 15s. the procedure should be initiated. start the engine. rev engine to 3500 min for 10s. allow to idle for 30s. rev engine to 3500 min for 10s. allow to idle for 30s. rev engine to 3500 min for 10s. Never done a coolant system bleed and my system stays nice and cool. i usually let it cycle a few times, let the fan come on,then off, then the coolant should bubble, then fan on, then off, then coolant bubble. i usually let the fan come on and off 2 3 times. make sure if your gonna let it do it a few times do it outside.
